After downloading the latest version on anydvd, AVG alerted me that the virus: Stephen was detected and moved it to the quarantine area. The gamejackal download had the same problem.

    anyone else encounter this?

No, where did you download them from?

Sorry I run AVG as well and didn't recieve this information so the issue is the source of the download or a reg hack most likely.

Could also be a hidden virus plugin you picked up off of a less-than-reliable site. They attach viri to the start or end of exe files during download. Download AVG Anti Spyware and load the AVG ASW control panel, then click analysis and check your plugins. The only two things you need in the list are Java and SSV, if you have Acrobat, you may have a helper for that as well. Everything else could be cleared out to protect you. :D
