Virtual Clonedrive 5.4.5.0 und Ubuntu Samba

Seit ich Virtual CloneDrive 5.4.5.0 installiert habe, können gemountete DVD-ISO-Dateien, die auf einem Ubuntu 10.10 Server mit Samba abgelegt sind, nicht mehr mit Windows Media Player oder im Windows Media Center abgespielt werden. Mit VLC oder PowerDVD funktioniert dies aber einwandfrei. Ist die gleiche Datei aber lokal oder auf Windows Workstation im LAN, funktioniert WMP und MCE einwandfrei. Mit Virtual Clonedrive 5.4.4.0 funktioniert alles in allen Konstellationen.

Die betrifft einen PC mit Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit

Problem temporär gelöst

Auf der Suche nach einem anderen Problem mit PowerDVD und MCE bin ich bei Cyberlink auf den Hinweis gestossen, das PowerDVD 10 in MCE ein Problem mit Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 hat, dass sie jetzt korrigieren wollen. IE9 deinstalliert und alle meine Probleme, inklusive der hier beschriebenen, waren weg. Könnte sicher auch für Slysoft ein Hinweis für eine mögliche Korrektur sein.
