I just got this, like 5 minutes after AVG had finished its daily scan, all clean by the way, and yes it seems to involve AnyDVD .

My system is completely up to date and I'm running the latest official version of AnyDVD.

edit : Curiouser and curioser, I only get the verbosepage form problem on the NYT web site.

Perhaps it's time to use something more reliable than AVG (or try a different browser or try cleaning your browser's cache).

I agree. AVG can't keep it up. Prehaps eset.

Problem gone.
The NYT site got hacked and AVG updated.

Going to check out alternatives .
