Verbatim 96862 DL Inkjet Printable

Does anyone know if Verbatim makes dvd's without having printing on the hub identifying Verbatim and the type of disc? I purchased some on the Internet and when they arrived they had the standard label on the spindle cover but no indentifiers on the disc.

what do you mean "hub" ? Hub as in the caxebox that contains the media ? If they dont have some type of labeling on the cakebox, how do you expect the retailers to know that its verbatim media inside. They cant just go about opening cakeboxes, pop a disc in a drive and check the media code to see if its verbatim.

If you mean verbatim text on the disc, then yes they do but afaik only on DL discs. No logo discs are often also a bit more expensive and ment for the professional market, not the consumer market.

The hub refers to the center ring of the disk closest to the center hole. The media brand and batch numbers are often printed there in fine print.

Sams's club sells some Verbatim printables... but I never actually looked at them.
