Hello.
While trying to copy the DVD Vaxxed, i get an error: vts_20_1.vob 003925
It gets about 46% through and then the error pops up.

I think the surface is clean and unscratched.

Ideas? Thanks.

set your drive region to Region 1, if thats the region you are in.

Then you checked with anydvd active. EXIT anydvd completely, recheck > SURPRISE!

I exited AnyDVD and removed the DVD, and checked the Device Manager. It gave the Current Region as 'Not Specified'. I set it to Region 1. Then re-inserted the DVD, ran AnyDVD and proceeded to attempt to clone the DVD, but got the same error at the same point.

Your using slysoft any dvd 7695 may not be able to handle new copy protection-if you can either buy the new redfox version or use the trial on the new redfox version and see if that works okay.

that's a good catch scotton, it's very likely that's the case here. That title was released september last year way past the slysoft shutdown. @liometopum there's a good chance AnyDVD V8 or higher will be able to decrypt that title succesfully, but it will require a new license. Slysoft licenses do NOT work with v8 or higher

v8 or above. Any 8.x.x.x release will not work with slysoft licenses. In the event that even the latest beta 8094 doesn't work then a new logfile will be required so support can be added

I downloaded the newest version, then ran the new AnyDVD and got a difference... Found & removed 28 potential bad sector protections! Versus the 27 before. I will post the latest log file when the DVD is available (it's writing now). The copy appeared successful.
I then went back and tried to purchase the license but was denied, and instantly received a call from my bank's fraud checking unit. The payment was going to <snip>. Is that correct?

that's possible, due to the nature of redfox and anydvd they have to be obscure with the payment. That "charge" should correspond with the message you got on the payment page. Tell the bank to let it through

Here is the log file, if you are interested.

That's a copy paste of the status window, not an anydvd logfile

Did it work okay after using redfox????? And post a log file if not. I see it worked okay-You may have to call your bank and say its okay to be charged from China.

Yes, it worked great. The new version picked up the additional bad sector protection, I guess.
And yes, I just attempted to pay again, and it should go through. FYI, I had to switch browsers to make it happen.

THANKS!!!

Well if the payment went through, welcome to the club and glad the ripping worked.

If you used a Visa to purchase then on page 4/4 it should say completed with your order number. And there will be a link to your key(s) to download for immediate usage. You never have to wait for them by email if was processed at time of purchase.
The only exception's to this are when it tells you it must be manually processed by RedFox. Or you used Bitcoin. And if you use Bitcoin then keep the final page 4/4 open and as soon as payment verification is done and received by RedFox then your key(s) will become available for download by pressing F5 (refresh).
