I have used clonemobile to make divx files using the divx export option inside the program... Is there a way to tell it to use different versions or is the one internal the latest ? (6.4 I believe) I was just curious how it ties into the paid version I have on my computer or are they totally isolated from each other?

this has been discussed over on cdfreaks too.

it doesn't use any codec on your machine, just the one that comes with mobile - which uses mencoder, so therefore xvid (divx4).

answer me this, is divx 6 pro still full of spyware, like 5 used to be? maybe that's why slysoft uses the open xvid.....

I have not seen any spyware from divx 6 on either the pc or mac versions....

The newer version uses multi threading for dual core processors...

I have used clone mobile divx to put movies into my Archos 604.
