Is anyone else having trouble with the new versions o any dvd and clone dvd.Ever since updated I have been making coasteres and getting this error write dvd 10 11 w2.thanks
1. Do step 3 and 4 (step 4 requires you to post information) 2. Update your burner's firmware (if available) http://forum.slysoft.com/showpost.php?p=12794&postcount=10 3. Use good quality media (Memorex, Ritek, Princo, Fuji, TDK from Costco, and Maxell that are not made in Japan are not good quality media). Use Taiyo Yuden 8x Premium, Verbatim, Maxell Plus, or Maxell Broadcast Quality If you use poor quality blank media, then you should expect problems. visit http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4764653&postcount=25 and http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3976250 4. Try lowering your burn speed (not below 4x; if you have a 16x burner and 16x rated media try writing to it at 12x instead of 16x; an 8x burn speed on 16x rated media wouldn't be a bad idea either) 5. If you're using +R, +RW, or +R DL media, change the booktype to "dvd-rom" http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=476 (step 3) 6. Avoid sticker labels (they tend to cause problems) 7. Try setting a custom size of 4300 in Clonedvd (but if you're using good media, you shouldn't have to) if you're using regular single layer dvd-5 (4.7GB) discs. Bad burn quality is notorious around the end of discs (see step 6) and also at layer breaks when using low quality DL media (use Verbatim +R DL media, and change the booktype to "dvd-rom) Also, check the preview screen in Clonedvd to ensure you're backing up the proper title. read http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=476 fully please
I have done everything and still not working.Could there be a problem with the latest updates to any dvd an dvd clone.
I and most everyone else are not having a problem with the new versions. So just saying in a blanket statement that AnyDVD and CloneDVD have a problem, no. Is there something in your system that is maybe causing a conflict, maybe. Until you answer the questions and give us a little more to go on, there's not much that we can do.
No. You haven't, because you certainly didn't do step 1 from my initial reply. Now this time follow the instructions. Also answer these questions
In the event there was a possible issue with AnyDVD and/or CloneDVD and your system you certainly cannot expect Slysoft to read your mind and know what hardware you are using and know what software you also have installed. Problems are definitely not prevalent but when they do crop up nearly all are solved when people follow the advice given. If you want a resolution to your problem you're going to have to provide actual answers which contain actual information. Otherwise your problem cannot be fixed.
Pioneer dvd-rw dvr-11d, setupclone dvd 2908 slysoft,+R DL,Phillips DVD +R Double Layer 12x write speed. I check on the forum and I flashed my drive from version 1.23 to1.29 and reinstalled both clone dvd version 2908 and any dvd version 6155 I reduced the write speed from max to 12x .Running windows xp sp2 ,any movie region 1 Canada/i have tried dejavu, catch and release,,last King of Scotland all fails write dvd 10 11 w2 and still no help the only thing I have not tried yet is the media.I do not beleive this is it as have burned many movies with this media and no problems.
You still haven't done step 1 from initial reply, and if you're not using the blank media I and others have recommended, that could very well still be an issue.
Yes I reinstalled both and why all of a sudden after I updated am I having problems.I have gone through 3 spindles of that Phillips dl media and no problems.
You were lucky! Not known to be quality media. Might check your collection in a few months to see if your older Phillips discs will still play....
Wolfstew, The recommended speed for that media/your drive is 2.4X. I believe that is what the tables mean. http://www.supermediastore.com/philips-double-layer-dual-layer-8x-dvd-plur-r.html Verbatim (Singapore) is your best bet, and CloneCD rather than CloneDvd, as the layer break is kept true. I have only done 3 DL discs with Verbatim/CloneCD, they were perfect thanks to Webslingers directions.
It is also possible that you are having a software conflict. To rule it out, can you post a list of what is in your Upper and Lower filters?
Maybe. Some phillips dvd+R DL codes the same as Verbatim +R DL (MKM 001), but that's fairly rare now. A lot of the Phillips +R DL is vastly inferior. Of course if the OP answered question 6 properly, we could all stop playing guessing games.

We didn't ask you to uninstall anything yet. Now you need to uninstall and reinstall Clonedvd, because it won't work properly if you deleted that filter. AFS2K - CD-Rom Driver by OAK Software and HP Memories Disc    Does your optical drive still work? You will probably want to find whatever installed that and reinstall it. You should not be uninstalling that filter. PFC - Padus ASPI Shell filter driver. If you have Roxio installed [which it appears from this list], please try uninstalling it and see if the problems persist. Personally, I would also recommend uninstalling Nero InCD. Packet writing software isn't worth the headaches it can cause, IMO.
Yes. Uninstall the associated software until the four entries DrinkLyeAndDie quoted no longer appear in your filters.
