Updated AnyDVD HD

If it worked why does Cyberlink play just a black screen? I have version 7.2 Ultra. Could this be my problem? What's weird is it will play the disc, just not the ripped files. I can't get 7.3 installed because it keeps saying installation failed in windows xp pro x64. That brings me back to my x64 issue.

That is really weird. I also had the 7.2 and all was fine for me I also tried the Casino Royale BD. :agree:.The only difference between you and me is th at you are runinng XP and I am running vista but both are 64 bit so I think that is not the porblem-Did you try the PowerDVD patches availible on cyberlink.com? If they don't help and wait till Monday there they are going to release a new patch(according to an email I got from Cyberlink) that will include BD+ support and new host keys perhaps it will also fix your problem....

Willin,

I had very similar issue with the Pirates of The Carribean, looks like that disc may be a BD-J title and you might have DEP protection in windows enabled for your player. Disable it for your player (or do it for all apps, except for windows services), that might help. It worked for me, I also got the black screen symptom with POTC until I did that...

Just to give everyone that followed this thread an update. I wiped my RAID 5 array and just installed plain ole Windows XP Pro SP2 x86 and all of my problems have now gone away. I can read/decrypt HD DVDs with the xbox 360 drive and I can now decrypt blu rays again with AnyDVD HD. I appreciate everyone's help.
