Try to clean the disc. Is it scratchy?
Code:
WARNING: Read errors on disc!

yes tried cleaning and polishing with pledge --- so read errors but no crash -- actually its not all that scratchy barely at all
also tried lens cleaner and two seperate drives before i posted here

well tried cleaning disc one last time --ripped to 91.8 mb --basically worse.
Just for giggles -- disabled anydvd and played disc on vlc played normally up to 128min of 138 min movie.
going to try one last thing disable anydvd and rip it with dvdshrink -- nope didnt work
well i guess the disc is toast

I had something similar a long time ago, but that was before my forum time and therefore I never created a log or asked about it.

According to the log this DVD is not CSS protected, try doing a copy of the files/folders on the DVD to your HD with AnyDVD disabled/not running.

If that doesn't work then the DVD is more than likely FUBAR, but @James would be the one to definitively say.

Vlc crashed at 1.28 so copy to HD wouldn't help. Disk is toast.
Only posted because no error thrown. This happened a couple wks ago small rip no error. Rebooted cpu and it worked fine
Go figure well bye
What software to open view log???

What software to open view log???
It is a zip archive, so install WinRAR or 7zip (whatever you like) and tell windows to open it with that as standard. Then you can always just double-click it. Inside the log, you will find .txt files, one of them is called AnyDVD Status or like that. That is the output you can see in the AnyDVD window as well. And there are other things for the devs.
