Unreachable e-mail address

I am trying to purchase a bundle of products and when I hit the order button I get the following warning message:

"you e-mail address appears to be unreachable. Are you sure you want to continue"?

Yet I was able to receive my activation/validation e-mail from redfox in order to create this account in their forum site!

what gives?

License key's are e-mailed automatically upon purchase. Before allowing the purchase to go through, the shop connects to the mailserver tied to your mailbox (not your mailbox itself!) in order to know if the key will be delivered (certain ISP's tend to (silently) drop the license mails). If the mailserver responds incorrectly or times out. The shop won't let the purchase go through. Simply try an alternate address

I found that thread after I posted this. Therefore I tried again with my older email address. That one worked, but had to call my bank to white list Redfox and reordered. But order as "lost" somewhere. Now I am getting responses email address!

Anyway, at least I am getting emails now. Thanks for your help.
