Firmware for Blu Ray players seems very complicated. I hear people say that some firmware is not fully BD-R compliant. Firmware updates come out frequently, so what are they fixing? Are they introducing security blockages in these later model players that could be messing up playback? How can one know if a player is fully BD-R compliant. It is never designated in the specs for the players.
