do you think I should update my firmware to the 1.11? I don't want to screw anything up

yeah you can email me -

Yeah I can do that just send me your email address in a PM, I wouldnt be posting it on an open forum, also I suggest that you update your burners firmware.

Email sent. If you have the seperate vserion of CopyToDvd installed you may want to uninstall it. I just reinstalled that version and am going to check out a few things that i may have forgotten that may be of more help to you, will be back in a minute or so.

I had already tried installing before I got yor message about uninstalling the older version. - I will try that now

OK, right down your registration number first if you havent saved it somewhere else also a few other things that you may want to write down for reference is your F3-key will turn on or off CPRX, with AnyDvd I would turn it off, F7-key to open your 1Click log, F8-key to open your CopyToDvd burn log, F9-key to open your CopyToDvd properties and F2-key to open the registration window.

I have installed the update - I am trying to burn it now - I didn't turn off CPRX but will if it doesn't work -

Is there a faster way to burn dvd's that pushing start on 1click and letting it do it's thing for 25 minutes? I thought I had read you can copy a file to the desktop - honestly I need baby steps thru that but would love to do this faster if it doesn't compromise quality

Ok, but after this burn I would turn it off, it was designed to work with Dvd43(sucks!), with AnyDvd you dont need it and it can cause a problem with some movies. A couple of other things I would do is for burning speed I would burn at half your medias rated burn speed, for example if using 16X media I would burn at 8X and if using 8X media I would burn at 4X. The one thing I like about the newer version 5 of 1click is that everything is now consilidated into the 1Click program, no need to open up the CopyToDvd properties to make changes, you just right click on the 1Click screen.

TPLAT -

I looked on that website you posted for firmware and my firmware is up to date - I am using 1.01 but do have 1.02 installed - I just need to run it - the 1.11 is for the PX 704A - thanks for the website!

I`ll send you an email to a site that has a 1Click tutorial.
