unable to uninstall anydvd

hi, i had to reformat my H/D because anydvd said i had no burners installed, but when i went to remove it in add and remove ... i recoeved a message telling me i did not have permission to perform this action
now keep in mind i am running vista home
now i am apprehensive to reinstall it on my notebook, this is the very first time i have had any issues with anydvd!
it's a great program, but this issue casued me a huge headache
any ideas?

No drives, you mean?

You need to reboot after installing.

Are you running in an administrator account?

Is User Account Control blocking you?
