hi,

this is my first post on this forum.I`ve used the AnyDVD/CloneDVD
combo for several years, with no trouble at all.until now.

I just got a DVD player capable of playing iso`s and ifo`s over network,
and I`m now in the process of copying most of my DVD collection to my
fileserver.when doing my Simpsons DVDs (season 1-9), I was not
successful in making an iso of season 5/DVD1.The rest went ok.

It got to 47% in transcoding, when a message box with a
progress bar appears, saying the DVD structure is damaged, and
trying to repair it.it fails with an "Oh No!" voice.it was processing
the file VTS_01_2.VOB when failing.

If I copy the entire VIDEO_TS dir to hd manually (with explorer), it plays
fine when opened as a dvd dir with VLC.I`m copying all DVDs with
episodes only, + menus and subtitles intact.using the manually copied
files as source in CloneDVD, the same happens.also note that I`m not
ripping DVD`s directly to my fileserver. I fill up a disk on my work pc and
then put it into the server.

btw,the DVD surface is fine.

If anyone have any suggestions, that would be great.
thanks in advance for any answers.

Anydvd ripper or Clonedvd should be able to handle this disc. Fixvts is no longer used in Anydvd.

If this is a newer protection, Anydvd needs to be updated.
I mean to clean the files up but yeah. AnyDVD Ripper does clean them up?

Pleas post them here, too. Much faster. If you only send them through support, it can take several days before I get them. Now it is too late anyway, 6.1.7.0 is released.

O.k., step 10 from the link does tell the reader to post in the forums as well, but next time I will specify posting in the forums.

I tried, but the zip size limit is too low.even if i split the files into 2
archives, the biggest archive is a few kb more than allowed.the largest
ifo is 210944 bytes original size, and 101667 bytes zip compressed.

Update to Anydvd 6.1.7.0 and Clonedvd 2.9.1.2 to see if that helps.
