when it says disc wants bus encryption and your drive has bus encryption what does that mean ???

thankx for your time

Wrong section, has nothing to do with CloneBD.

That said, think of it as an advanced version of AACS. The disc wants secure data transfer from the disc through the drive to the operating system and the software player. If the drive supports it, it has to use bus encryption. But that's nothing anydvd can't handle.

What is AACS Bus Encryption?

AACS Bus Encryption is a new copy protection that applied in some Blu-ray discs. It mainly adds the PC player encryptions to prevent the decryption of the content even if the AACS keys are known. Therefore, AACS Bus Encryption will prevent you from playing some blu-ray discs with PC based player software such as Power DVD, ARC soft 5, Total Media Theater, Cineplayer BD with 3D, WinDVD Pro. It also added second layer of encryption between the player software host and PC drive. Moreover, AACS Bus Encryption uses Dynamic keys. So that the disc content shall be much safer and the identification process shall be easier. All the above features increase the difficulty for the decryption of AACS Bus Encryption

In the case where the data is encrypted using AACS, the disc contains a set of secret values, including the encryption title key for the content that is encrypted and stored on the disc. Further in a computer-based playback environment, in the case where data is encrypted using AACS, before it provides this data to the AACS decryption module (also known as an AACS Player), the disc drive must authenticate the particular module to which it is sending the content and then must add a further layer of encryption (called "bus encryption") as it streams the data from the Blu-ray disc across the connection (also known as the "bus") to the AACS decryption module. Note that the disc drive has no knowledge of the secret data (keys, etc.) that may be contained in the data that is sent to the AACS decryption module.
