Wondering if any thought has been given to making anydvd fix this issue? haven't had any luck trying to get dune's attention on it. Basically told that these devices are very old.
I've hit the same problem with Red Tails (a bd+ title) ripped with 8.2.1.0. It plays in vlc 3.0. My hope is that kodi based devices get up to speed quickly with libbluray and future proof bluray playback (at least when ripped with anydvd). Can't work around with manually (or at least haven't figured out yet how to do it).
