The Facts of Life Season 7 Disc 3 - CSS Error on Scan

Have season 7 of The Facts of Life (US Version). The disc is from the standalone shout factory in the US from season 7. First 2 discs backed up without incident but the 3rd one had a css error and from what I can see a key substitute was performed.

Could I possibly have a bad DVD?

I think I found my problem in a different thread just now. Just bought a new drive and did not set it's region code. Since I am making full disc backups I ended up setting the region code on the drive and the problem went away.

It's fairly common to forget to set the region code on a new drive. I almost always forget to set the region code on a newly purchased drive until AnD pops up a message on attempting to decrypt a disc for a first time. THEN, I remember.
