• AnyStream is having some DRM issues currently, Netflix is not available in HD for the time being.

In the last beta there was this:
  • new: support for cropped videos for MP4/MKV output (e.g. cinemascope height reduction)
But as I and several other people noticed, it didn't work properly

This would be a great feature if it could be made to work and I'm just wondering, might Elby get it working one day, or should I give up dreaming / hoping?

There was no new version for almost a year now and it seems that they are not that active in this forum (like Fabian), so unless the RedFox devs know something I cannot see anything on the horizon.

That functionality works just fine, last time I checked. You have to keep in mind that if the resulting video aspect ratio doesn't EXACTLY match the aspect ratio of your display device(tv/pc monitor) it's the monitor that fills the screen back up with black bars in order to keep proper display AR.
