Subtitles in Karate Kid 2010

I am trying to burn Karate Kid 2010 to an mp4. No matter what settings i try i cant get the japanase parts to display the corresponding english subtitles. If i choose eihter subtitle English or English it gives subtitles for the whole movie.

Run out of things to try. Has anyone else been able to sucessfully burn with the subtitles?
