Soo confused, any help is appreciated

Hello Everyone!

I just bought AnyDVD today and am very lost. See, I had CloneDVD2, and have been using it with DVD Decrypter until very recently when DVD Decrypter would no longer decode newer movies. I decided to upgrade to AnyDVD..so here is what I do

1- Put in the movie (marie antoinette in this case)
2- anydvd is open already, i supposedly have to do nothing
3- i open clonedvd 2 and start to burn marie anotinette
4- clonedvd2 closes 20 seconds in

what is going on? Do i need to do something else? I really hope I didnt just blow 50 bucks, because dvd decrypter couldnt do it either.

You didn't waste any money. AnyDVD probably has nothing to do with the CloneDVD2 problem.

Make sure you are using the most current version of AnyDVD/CloneDVD2...they should be able to handle this one. If not and you get a successful rip, try running the VIDEO_TS.IFO through VobBlanker.

are you trying to burn the file or trying to click on the "copy movie and all menu options" ? what version do you have

Obviously, something is not working properly.

go there and download the latest version of CloneDVD.

this step will ensure that you are using the latest version... then we can get someone to help once we make sure you are having issues still...

Also, do you have any other burn program running in the background.. sometimes folks have nero running in the system tray... if so.. close that before testing out again...

Honest this program works... and quite well... we just need to start knockin out some of the possible things that might be causing you issues.

Marie Antoinette

puplexed, I have this movie & I backed it up with AnyDVD 6.1.1.4 & CloneDVD 2 ver. 2.9.0.3; Note : Be SURE you have a RED Fox in your tray before inserting your source disc. Alllow a few seconds for AnyDVD to "crack" this one. It's a Sony release and heavily protected, but AnyDVD will take care of it, after the Red Fox turns Pink then RED again, you can open CloneDVD 2 and back this one up. You certainly did not waste any $ with these 2 programs! I have yet to see a movie they can't back-up!
