Anyone having trouble burning Casino Royale?... or any other Sony Picutres dvds?? I was using an old version of both clone dvd and anydvd and now that i upgraded it still dosent work. Before i post all of the technical details i was just wondering if anyone else has had problems with this particular movie/Sony Picutres?
Should work if you're in Region 1: http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=2077 So the answer should be no--not unless you have a bad original.
The technical information is needed. I haven't seen anyone having problems with Casino Royale, AnyDVD, and CloneDVD. http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=393
Sorri didnt get back sooner... Yea, if u have your own store(or work at one, in my case) u get movies the week ahead of time, anyways heres waht i got, Lite-ON DVD SoHD-16P9SV HL-DT-ST- DVDRAM GSA-4163B AnyDvd 6.1.3.0 CloneDVD 2.9.0.3 Sony DVD-R 4.7Gb here what any dvds saying: Summary for drive F: (AnyDVD 6.1.3.0) LITE-ON DVD SOHD-16P9SV F$01 AUG09 ,2005 Drive (Hardware) Region: 1 Media is a DVD. Can someone please do me a favour and send the .ifos into Slysoft, please? Edit: Nevermind, there's something wrong with CoryThury's status info. Something is weird here. I suspect Arccos is on this disc and something happened between 6.1.2.5 and 6.1.3.0 where it's no longer being detected. This is a Sony release, right?
CoryThuy, Either you don't have Anydvd running with default settings or something is the matter with your reader. This is what you should be getting: from http://club.cdfreaks.com/showpost.php?p=1722537&postcount=1 AnyDVD: Summary for drive E: (AnyDVD 6.1.3.0) HL-DT-ST DVD-ROM GDR8163B 0S24 0BSCA04/07/28 Drive (Hardware) Region: 1 Media is a DVD. Video Standard: NTSC Media is locked to region(s): 1! RCE protection not found. DVD structure appears to be correct. Found & removed structural copy protection (Arccos, Puppetlock)! Found & removed bogus title set! Found & removed Autorun from Video DVD! Found & removed 96 bad sector protections! Emulating RPC-2 drive with region 1! DVD Bar code 0 4339614861 1
yea im using default settings on my anydvd....why does my log not say "Found and removed structural copy protection Arccos,Puppetlock" i was also missing a few other lines, "removed 96 bad sectors" is this the reason i cant get it to work??? i havent changed any of my settings on anydvd, and if u guys have gotten it wiht no problems...why me!? getting frusterated....
Are you in the U.S.? Your firmware is old. Try updating it: http://www.liteonamericas.com/twnmain/DOWNLOADS/ODD/SOHD-16P9SV/firmware/P9SF$02.zip
.... u no what guys.... just checked my anydvd...seems i had a few settings unchecked... weird because i never changed anything from after the dl... ohh well, looks like my "copy protection based on unreadable sectors" and "Hardward region code: simulate RPC2 drive with matching region" settings were not selected. I cant get the movie back from my store untill release day on tuesday so i cant give it another go till then... but from the looks of things.. could this be the fix to my problem???
