[ Solved] Why different bitrates on same files on different computers?

I choose the same video on Amazon Prime, choose the same resolution and the same audio track, however on different computers I get significantly different filesizes and bitrates. Why is this and how can I be sure to get the best possible bitrates?

Do you use the same version on both machines? If no you should update and try again. If you do, post a logfile as Prospere already said.
