My surround sound box will not allow me to set the screen width and the way it is set now is too tall. It used to work and now it doesn't. HELP!

What is your source (i.e. Blu-ray player, HTPC, etc.), and what is the make and model of your display? Usually the screen width is a function of one of those two rather than the "surround sound box" (and what is that by the way?). Are you talking about playing the original disk or playing a back-up when this happens?
