rosetta stone backup will not work

I have tried to back up rosetta stone spanish in all modes data/multimedia etc. The disk autostarts but when you try to start the program the message is insert application cd and restart.

From the other threads that have been on here for that program, it appears CloneCD cannot overcome the copy protection.

You need to right click the tray icon for CloneCd and select to Hide the CDR media. You then need to copy using the protected pc game selection. This will allow you to make a copy of disc 2, and allow you to put your original away. I still have to use the original disc 1 in order to get it on my other computer.

I made a backup of Rosetta Stone French by following your directions to hide cdr media. It appears that I need the clonecd runnind in the icon tray in order for the backup to work. Is this correct? In other words, can I use this backup on a computer that doesn't have clonecd on it? If I can, what did I do wrong with the program? Thanks for any help. I am new to this program and am unfamiliar with it's settings.

If you use the hide cd-r option, you 'll need clonecd on others computers (or similar programs like daemon tools)

Rosetta Stone can't be copied successfully

For Rosetta Stone Spanish Disk - I set "hide cdr media" and copied as a "protected pc game" but it did not work. CloneCD was in the tray.
