What is the name of the game (including version) you're trying to run?
Risen 3 - The Titan Lords - V1.0 (German Collectors Edition, Retail)
Is it CD or DVD version?
DVD
What optical drives (dvd-rom, cd-rom, burners) are you using to create profiles with?
TSSTcorp DVDWBD SH-B123L (Blu-Ray-ROM, SATA internal) (first try, third try)
Plextor PX-B300SA (Blu-Ray-ROM, SATA internal) (second try)
What security software (firewall, antivirus) are you using? Please provide version numbers.
Microsoft Security Essentials V4.5.261.0
Describe your problem, provide full error messages, and please state clearly what you were doing when you received those error messages.
Installed the game, run it, works.
Installed GameJackal, restarted, created new profile (default options), profile created.
Startet the profile:
Message: "GameJackal ist nun aktiv. Währenddessen ist Ihr CD-Laufwerk unzugänglich" (GameJackal working)
Then: "Risen 3 - Titan Lords"-Fehlermeldung: "Original Medium nicht gefunden: Bitte stellen Sie sicher, dass das korrekte Medium eingelegt und lesbar ist. Starten Sie dann das Programm erneut". ("No DVD found, ...")
Reboot, deleted profile, recreated default profile using Plextor. Started the profile:
Reproducable BlueScreen "Page Fault in nonpaged area:
Reboot, deleted profile, recreated profile with TSSC-Copr. Profile complete.
Run the Profile:
Game message "starting the game"
Then game message "Fehler bei der Überprüfung des Mediums: Die Disc konnte nicht als gültiges Original identifiziert werden. Bitte legen Sie das Original Medium ein und starten Sie das Programm erneut." ("DVD could not be verified, ...")
"Emulator active: Info:" with URL https://www.protect-software.com/de...ew=article&id=61:emulators&catid=38:emulators
Turn on Advanced logging.
