Warning:

AnyDVD is unable to crack all CSS Keys on this disc!
AnyDVD will guess the correct CSS Key, but it is possible,
that one or more titles on the disc will not play properly.

You can check the AnyDVD CSS Key archive from the AnyDVD
settings window.

I'll report how the copy turns out.

If you read through the AnyDVD forum (AnyDVD for DVD's, AnyDVD HD for Blu-ray/HD DVD) you'll see you need to update to the latest beta for this disc to work (6.8.5.12). Also by the message your posting it would imply you haven't set the region on your DVD drive

Thor-AnyDVD 6.8.5.12 Beta-didn't work

Just tried it. Region 1 - Same warning as before.

Thor - Warning

Thanks for the tips.

Just tried the Beta - same warning. (Dive was/is set to proper region.)

Interesting, Mine finished scanning after about 3 min(rather slow). The Blu ray disc scanned quicker, and didn't have trouble. Though who knows if it was properly ripped :S

Guess I'll be updating just to be sure ;)

What warning? That you should set your drive's region code? ;)
If yes, well, set your drive's region code.

Set your drive region code.

Please set your DVD drive region:

  • Right click the fox on your system tray. Exit Anydvd
  • Click start. Right click on "My computer"--->select "properties".
  • Click on the 'Hardware' tab--->click the 'device manager' button.
  • Open the dvd/cdrom branch---> right click on your optical drive
  • Click "properties".
  • You should have a region tab. From there you can select a region.
  • Select the region that you're in
  • Start Anydvd

Post a new set of log files after setting the DVD drive region.

Thor mystery solved.

Thor – Beta works for me now with 6.8.5.12 .

I checked the region on my burner AGAIN (yes I had checked it earlier as I said) and this time it was blank! I set to Region 1 (double checked to ensure the change stuck) and the warning did not appear. The copy was perfect also.

The copy I made earlier (with the warning) also worked, but it had a screen of ‘noise’ just before the start of the Paramount logo.

Thor is copyable.

Greetings all,

I have good luck on copying Thor. And the image is of excellent quality.

If you wish the settings i can explain them, or take screen shots for all.

Thank you,

Computerman

Anydvd has nothing to do with Image quality. It's a 1:1 copy. Simply extracting/decrypting the Data.
