I get a

clonedvd missing title VOB file(s) named VTS _01_*.VOB

after 99% cloning to disk. Its capture 4.jpg attached to this thread. The first 2 attached screenshots are of my running processes if you think there is something problematic thats running.

Here are my specs:

Dell XPS 435MT, i7 920 2.67ghz, 12GB, Home Prem 64 bit, ATI Radeon HD4670
clonedvd 2.9.2.2
anydvd 6574
Optiarc DVDRW AD7200S ATA DEVICE (driver MSFT 6.0.6001.18000)
Pioneer BD-RW BDR-203ATA (driver MSFT 6.0.6001.18000)

Per http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=15537 instructions, I have attached the log in imgburn, but I dont know if anything would be problematic. I also dont want to remove something that I shouldnt.

Whats weird is that I was about to start cloning 100 home movies to my disk and the first 2 of them worked successfully, but the rest resulted in the attached Clone DVD error (image 3). I tried both copying dvd titles and cloning dvd functions. I also tried using AnyDVD utility to copy video dvd to disk and you can see the attached error (image 4).

The only last thing I havent tried is updating the firmware for those drives if they are available. Per the instructions, I know these are the two locations:
http://www.sony-optiarc.us/en/support-service/downloads/fw_dvd-writer-ad-series.html
http://wwwbsc.pioneer.co.jp/product-e/ibs/device_e/dev00001r_e.html#firmware1

but which ones do I download per my model?

I am attaching the anydvd zip log file

24. I'm trying to backup something that was originally recorded on a standalone dvd video recorder, and Clonedvd is giving me an "unexpected error" and asking me to email bugs(at)elby.ch. Why?

a) Disable Anydvd
b) Select "use filesystem instead of Internal I/O" in CloneDVD's preferences with dvd-vr discs (you will want to reset this setting back to default afterwards)

Anydvd and Clonedvd are intended for use with commercially released dvd movies and not formats that do not conform to the dvd-video standard.

Alternatively, you may want to try exiting Anydvd and select "Write Existing Data" in Clonedvd to see if that works.

That worked!!!

Thanks so much. I guess I just was setup to rip real movies instead of home movies.

Yes, exactly

When backing up commercial movies, remember to revert back to default settings in Clonedvd.

Take care
