Hi everyone,

This is a translation of this topic : http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=35553

zarazostra wants to know if there is a way to remove 'FBI warning' when it's came before the menu (zarazostra can't find the track to remove in CloneDVD).
Is there a way to suppress this warning from the menu ?

The dvd is "State of play" ("Jeux de pouvoir" - French version zone 2)

It could be part of the menus themselves.

Also it might be possible to select "remove annoying adverts and trailers" in Anydvd, but sometimes that doesn't always work.

If there isn't an associated title to deselect, or if the above two options don't work, then the answer is no (at least, not with Anydvd or Clonedvd).

If you can't remove it with CloneDVD or AnyDVD then use VOBBlanker.
It's free and easily found through google.

Thank's for the answers. ;)

Could it become a future feature for clonedvd ?

Could it become a future feature for clonedvd ?

It will be in a future version of .... AnyDVD! :D

EDIT:
This has the advantage, that you don't have to *watch* this stuff when playing the original disc on your computer. And it will be fully automatic, and the material will be completely removed (CloneDVD won't see it, and won't need to compress it).

Thanks for the good news, James.

I'm kind of bummed out when I see the FBI warning on my legally bought and backed up copy. At least when the future feature is added to AnyDVD, I won't have to put up with the MPAA's 'FBI warning' crap.

Does this include when the warnings are by themselves or are in the
menu?

Currently doing up some Daniel Boone and his season 2 has the FBI warning
and some other garbage that plays first before the menu shows up and
I can only get rid of them using VobBlanker because they are part of the
menu (not a problem if you are not keeping the menu anyway). Seasons
3-5 have the FBI warning and other play first garbage by themselves
and are easy to remove with CloneDVD.

Just curious, would be nice to have one less step to go through :)

Both, if you want to. You will be able to remove:

1.) Unnecessary menus ("AI remaster(tm)" will pick them for you)
2.) Unnecessary menu parts ("AI remaster(tm)" will pick them for you)
3.) Unnecessary titles (by specifying a minimum play time)

The new feature will (probably) replace the "not so well working" "Remove Adverts & Trailers" option.

It will be an awsome feature James....
