I have the latest firmware installed, but I think CloneCd isn't recognizing my DVDRW drive as a DVD recorder.

this it what clone DVD says:

I do not see Can Write DVD-R discs, is this the problem?

I'm not having any problems with CloneDVD2...

    How can this be fixed..

Also tried installing old firmwares but doesn't change anything.

    Thanks for any help

I'm planning on buying a Lite On DVD-RW model: LH-20A1P-186.

Is this a good drive to copy anything? specially PS2 DVD-ROM based games..

I don't have any experience with backing up PS2 games, so I don't know what to recommend you.

That said, take a look at question 17 from here:

I have the exact same drive. It should handle ps2 games fine. You might try a dvd+R.
