Movie: The Legend Of The Guardians: Owls Of Ga'Hoole, US version; EAN 8 83929 10657 8.
The disc itself has been in the player for some time now, so it ought to be clean.
Not sure what on my computer could be causing it since I hardly have anything but games on my laptop.

Wrong assumption. Clean the disc with liquid soap and warm water. Dry with a microfiber cloth.
