You can download everything you have access to.
It does not matter if you purchase or rent a video and the channel is just like a new season you bought (Even if I used no channel myself yet others already used them, like the Paramount+ Channel).
As for the DRM, the channel is not an additional provider, it is something within Amz. So you should encounter no issues.
