when using xp sp2 does the anydvdhd udf file ripper system alllow you to view the "actual" files once they are ripped to hdd , cause it won't allow me to explore the files on the hd-dvd in the drive "TOSHIBA DVD/HDX807616 MC08 10/03/06"and i haven't done a anydvdhd rip because i don't want to put my test disk (300_HDDVD) on my archive hdd yet since i can't "explore" it (disk format error not compatible w/ windows)
thanks for your time

p.s.
can someone give me the pros/cons of installing the toshiba UDF 2.5 filesystem under xp

Ok course, once AnyDVD HD copies the files to your HDD, the whole directory structure and filenames are preserved, you can browse the files.

There is no problem with installing the Toshiba udf drivers, we install them on all our systems in case anyone decides to add a Blu-ray drive later
