This suggested work-around does not work for me. When I attempt to log out of netflix, AS crashes. When I restart AS and log back in, it does not even let me choose a netflix profile, it shows my profiles in netflix and immediately the screen changes and it just picks the first one (or perhaps the last one I logged in with) and throws the provider setup error message.

After I restart AS, and go to the netflix screen, it appears that I am logged in, it has the right profile, but no content is available as it's not really logged in anymore - it tells me I need to purchase the content for anything I choose to download. It's obviously not logged in, something fails as the log I posted shows - some handshake failing due to an authentication issue. Netflix does even recognize the login as I didn't get a message from netflix about a new device logging in or anything - something is broken.

I am having the same issue. With me, I also got an email from netflix saying a new device has attempted to login and if it was me 'no problem, have fun'. Basically Netflix is completely unusable, the software is unusable for me.

1. Make sure you are logged out of Netflix in AS and close AS.
2. Go to Netflix in your web browser. Log out of Netflix. Clear the cookies for Netflix in that browser. Close the browser.
3. Read carefully. You need to go to the Netflix site, by way of an isp "not" associated with your browser that you cleared the cookies on, and the isp associated with AS. If you have a cellphone, use the cellular service data to log into Netflix, not the wifi. Stay logged in to Netflix but close the cellphone browser.
4. Now try to login to Netflix from AS.

First "logging out" at AS is not possible, because the button is greyed out. I've tryed the rest form your tutorial - and was only celluar not in wifi. But sadly error continued appears in AS. :(

EDIT: I don't know why... but now, after several restarts from AS+, logging in seems to possible without errors again in AS.

I have the same error. Yesterday it was possible to download movies from Netflix, but the recorded video file showed only a few seconds of picture. The rest was black with green pixel errors and only sound was playing.
Today only the message "Provider setup failed" appears when you click on Netflix.

Just tried to access Netflix this morning, and was presented with the following error messages:upload_2021-12-29_12-6-1.png
Unfortunately, once I click OK on the two boxes, everything is blank and the logout box is greyed out. Log file attached.

yep, same here, not able to logout or do anything with NF

thx for the reply! tried both, unfortunately nothing worked

After the third restart of AnyStream, Netflix could be opened again. The problem with the black picture and sound only seems to affect Full HD recordings. With SD or HD Ready, the recording works.

Not on my end, a dozen tries later and still "setup failed". Not even the "provider dance" works.
