I am having the exact same problem. I make the profiles exactly like I do on XP with older version of gamejackal but the game always asks for cd. I am running it as admin too.

Here is my info....

1. What version of Game Jackal are you running?
Main Version - 2.9.18.565 -
Driver Version - 2.9.18.555 -

2. What is the title of the game you're trying to run?
Battle for Middle Earth II
Rise of the Witch King
I haven't tried F.E.A.R yet

3. What is the version of the game?
1.06
2.00

4. Is it cd or dvd version?
CD version
DVD version

5. What region or country is the original disc from?
US
US

6. Both say "-=[ ProtectionID v5.2c ]=- (c) CdKiller & [x/xxx]

Pentium 4, 3.2ghz, dual cpu's

"Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select ok and restart application"

10. What brand and model optical disc drive did you use to read the disc? What firmware version did you use?
NEC dvd-rw ND-3540A, firmware 1.07
 
I also cannot get a few games running without it asking for the cd.
I am creating my profiles exactly the same way I did with the old version of GJ but both of the games are still asking for cd.

scan the folder, not just the game exe, you might find theres protection in another exe.. lotr:bfme i think was safedisc... delta force black hawk down i think was also safedisc..
 
Why does my post keep dissapearing?? I have posted that I cannot get either one of the Battle for Middle Earths to work and my stats but both times I have logged on its gone.
