1. AnyStream is having some DRM issues currently, download with Netflix and Hulu is not possible at the moment.
Situations like this will always happen with AnyStream: streaming providers are continuously improving their countermeasures while we try to catch up, it's an ongoing cat-and-mouse game. Please be patient and don't flood our support or forum with requests, we are working on it 24/7 to get it resolved - but it will take a few days. Thank you.

Problem with region limits

I am trying to make a backup copy of a DVD made in Europe, Region 2, that I can play in my DVD player (America; Region 1), but when I insert the backed-up disc into the DVD player it says: "Playing this disc prohibited by area limits" and then the DVD menu screen starts shaking up/down and flashing violently which makes the message hard to read.

-I am using AnyDVD version with CloneDVD2 version

-The DVD I am trying to backup is called Vision from the Enchanted Lands (a live DVD by a band called Rhapsody of Fire).
-It was ordered from Europe so it would be Region 2 I believe.
-Release date was some time in July of 2007.

-Blank media: GQ (Great Quality) DVD-R 4.7GB 16x speed. Serial code: A16VS1301F146M00683

I actually don't even get a status report; I get this error message:

Use Taiyo Yuden media for your backups. :agree:

You are also trying to play a PAL encoded disc in an NTSC player. Some players will however allow you to play PAL in NTSC or vice versa, but not all. Check the players manual.

Slysoft products cannot convert PAL to NTSC. :disagree:

Does the bottom of the disc look silver?

This is pirated disc; it's not an original.

That's not the issue here as the original PAL disc plays fine in his NTSC player.
