I have copied quite a few movies without a problem but lately, they all have issues. They let me watch say 30 min of the movie and then it just stop and freezes. I can't skip to the next scene or chapter or anything. It does this in my DVD player and my neighbors yet the VD works fine on the computer. Anyone know what the issue could be?

@ skittles1933,

Welcome to the Forum

Most likely the problem you are describing is caused by poor quality blank DVD used to make your backup copies.

Suggest acquiring known proven quality blank DVD Media such as Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden DVD Media.

Also suggest ensuring that your DVD Burner has the newest most current up to date Firmware available.

Suggest reviewing the SlySoft CloneDVD Forum “Sticky” titled “Help! My Backups are freezing or showing a blocky pixilated mess!” ->

skittles1933 a dvd would work fine on a pc yet on a dvd player it can make a huge diffrese due to a pc dvd drive being a better laser for reading disc formates compablitiy compared to a home dvd player..... so try going to another dvd player and watch the same movie that is giving you issues. i can think of a few options here they are

a) "bad media" so its not good to have low priced blank disc cuz they kick in later ..... try TY (TYGO2) thats taiyo youden media

b) dvd player sucks such as deisgned not to play dvd-r or you are either keeping an 5 yr old dvd player and should be buying any sh!ty new dvd player thats worth $50 and works better then older ones...

c) something wrong in pc i had from this issue to other movies that i'v backed up show up in diffrent movies werid huh ....
