First off don't use nero vison as that isn't a player, just check. :D I just played a dvd for a few minutes using nero showtime and no problems doing so. :D

I assume you were using Nero Vision for video editing or authoring tool? Are you experiencing any other problems?

use of nero vision

I am using nero vision to edit out commericals. While I am editing out commericals, nero vision crashes randomly. To complete the process I have to keep restarting the program and saving throughout the editing. Once completed I click to burn to dvd. The program says it is transcoding. Half way through the burning process the program just shuts down.

The only thing I changed on the computer is I installed the new any dvd version.

Uninstall Anydvd. Does the problem go away?
