Hi evryone,

A French user got a problem when he/she wants to install AnyDVD.
He/she got an error message :

ANYDVD SETUP
Error occurs when opening :
F:\AnyDVD\ExecuteWithUAC.exe
(I'm not sure about the translation)

Original error message in french :
ANYDVD SETUP
Erreur lors de l'ouverture du fichier pour écrire:
F:\AnyDVD\ExecuteWithUAC.exe

How can we solve this issue ?

"Pour écrire" is "for writing", right?

1.) Check, that "ExecuteWithUAC.exe" isn't running (task manager). If it is, terminate it.
2.) Check, that "ExecuteWithUAC.exe" can be deleted. Try it manually with explorer. Maybe some anti-spyware, anti-whatever program (often worse than the spyware they try to protect you from) holds a "lock" on this file. Maybe the permissions were changed.

Not too sure if this will help user but to me it looks like UAC is stopping AnyDVD from installing. Delete AnyDVD from computer then have user turn User Account Control off reboot and then try to install AnyDVD again

He/she uses XP :D

I'll translate your answers ;)
