Just thought I had best let everyone know that because Cyberlink are being dicks by removing the option to open move file from hard drive. There is an alternative! I just downloaded ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre and it works great and it provides you with the option to Open move file from hard drive. Let Cyberlink shoot themselves in the foot. At least we now know we have an alternative option that at least provides consumers with what they want and need. The only problem I had with this program was double clicking to minimize and maximize while on the TV monitor.

ArcSoft TotalMedia has been discussed at length in the AnyDVD HD forum. Many people have had issues while others haven't. I have no HD-DVDs or BDs so I just tried to use it to watch a regular SD DVD. It locked up on me. I also had issues with the UI. Sadly, I was far from impressed and I am not happy with PowerDVD, either, but it's definitely better for me.

AVS DVD Player and Spider Player work well and they are both free.
