The "DivX" format is in fact an XViD format that can be played by most DivX compatible players and devices. We chose the more popular term "DivX". Image issue After converting a chapter from my kid`s DVD, I try to look at the resulting .avi file in Winamp (and other software players) and all I get is the sound. No pictures. Can you guys help?
I downloaded the Divx viewr (free) and installed. Then winamp was happy. Windows (or whatever os/sw you are using) does need a codec. Divx viewer works well dtsig
