recently purchased the above burner for my computer
hooked it up and tried to update the latest firmware
said target not found
on checking the properties tag find the previous installed lg model listed as well as the above
what can I do to install the machine properly in the computer and get full use
tried to burn a bdr 50 and it failed!
a £4 disc down the pan already
using windows 7
help!

Remove the Power cable from the LG drive and retry again. If that fails before you double click on the EXE to start the update Right mouse click on it and select RUN/OPEN AS ADMINISTRATOR and it should work. If not post back and i will try and help more.
