Philips SLM550 and Twonyvision

I have been using CloneDVD mobile to convert my DVD collection to AVI which I then store on a NAS device. I then run a DLNA Media server (Twonky Vision) on the NAS box to stream to a Philips SLM 550 which connects to my TV... the solution works well. However, since CloneDVD mobile got upgraded from version 1.1.4.* to 1.1.5.* the subsequent AVI files not longer work. The movie plays for about 5 seconds, without sound, and then a corrupt file message is displayed, error message created by the philips device. I have tried other VBO to Dvix converters without any problems, but I have a preference for this product because of speed, quality of output and usability.
I have even tried Microsoft connect to stream the avi but I get the same error.
I have read another thread in the forum with similar problems... any pointers to a solution would be appreciated.
