personal experience with 3 hr backups!

I recently reinstall my copy of anydvd and clonedvd. After the installation, whenever I tried to make a backup, It took 3 hrs or more for one disk. After countless unsuccessful attempts at finding the problem, I finally realized what was wrong. When I reinstall clonedvd, It automatically setup the "temporary directory for video files" on my portable USB drive which was running on USB 1.0. After changing it back to my IDE C drive, everything was back to normal, backups take only 30 minutes instead of 3+ hrs. This experience is unique to my situation and may not applied to everyone who've experience backups of 3 hr or more, just something to consider.
