PDVD upgrade from 3104a any point?

Im using PDVD 3104a and even though I used to use play from folder I prefer to play from an ISO image.

my question is this: does the new version add anything, better sound etc.

I play sound from xi-fi using seperate cables for each channel (3.5mm to Phono) as SPDIF was flat and quiet.

Seen plenty reasons not to upgrade but non for reasons to upgrade so can anyone help?
