PC freezes after scan with Any DVDHD

I can`t seem to get playback now with movies from the drive.The first 3 I used were fine and if I can get them to rip to the HDD with a play button they work fine.I finally got STARDUST to show the menu buttons,but this was after over a dozen tries.It plays fine now from the HDD.Other movies now just cause my PC to hang and I have to do a hard reset.
