No audio creating MP4 files

I have tried a couple discs and different audio options, but any mp4 file I generate does not have audio upon playback. Video looks fantastic, but no audio. I did go into the Preview screen and I can see English AC3 is selected (I also tried AAC) and I can hear audio during the preview.

I am thinking perhaps this is a codec issue on my machine? Actually, I am getting the same results on two different machines - but that doesn't mean I don't have the right codes installed on both of them.

I'll do the whole 'submit log' thing but first I am wondering if this is a simple setup error. Thanks.

Looks like it is indeed AC-3 audio format. Any suggestions for a codec or codec pack? Thanks.

I went with the K-Lite pack .. I have used it in the past. That was the problem, audio works now! Thanks Mike!

In case others have the same problem, I downloaded the 'mega' K-Lite pack and let it uninstall other codecs as it prompted me during the install.
