New to burning Need elementary help

hi, I installed a Nero burner on my pc and most of my burning have gone ok using anydvd and clone dvd sometimes intervideo dvd.......but certain recent movies keep giving me errors such as "data error (cyclic redundacy check)" and the entire process stops, and other titles i burn have constant freezing throughout the movie....of course I always update both programs anytime an update is available......what shall i do next PLEASE HELP !:doh:
I am using a blank Memorex dvd-r
Anydvd version 6.1.2.3
Nero Express 6 version 6.6.0.17
Window XP home edition

for skipping

1. Use better quality blank media
2. If you're using +R media, change the booktype to "dvd-rom"
3. Lower your burn speed
4. Try using a custom size of 4300 (in Clonedvd2's quality bar)

doing the movie only will cause many less problems


and other titles i burn have constant freezing throughout the movie

use better media like Taiyo Yuden and or Verbatim burning at 8x max


....of course I always update both programs anytime an update is available......what shall i do next PLEASE HELP !:doh:

couple other things make sure your firmware is up to date on your drive/burner and update your nero to 6.6.18
