i have found that on the new rawhide season 2 vol 1 series they have fixed > it so that if anydvd is running the dvd will not play. you can copy it or > think you are copying it but it will not play. if anydvd is disabled you can > play the original.
You must have some nonsense protection installed on your system that's causing issues. Can you give us a screenshot of the disc contents? I'm especially interested in .exe files.
answer to first question is yes i own the tv series. also i have had no other problems with anydvd or clonedvd2. so i believe it is not something on my computer.
I don't see any programs files on there of interest. The thing is nothing can really block Anydvd unless it's installed on your system first--or unless you're letting autoplay run (which Anydvd normally blocks by default provided its running when you insert the disc). 1. Visit http://uninstall.settec.com/eng/ and try running the alpha disc uninstaller to see if it finds anything to remove. 2. Do steps 3 and 4 (note that step 4 requires you to post information).
i disabled the remove annoying adverts. nothing changed. after copying the original it still would not play. i ran it through nero recode and it looked like it was there.
You have to have some filters. AnyDVD, itself, adds a Lower Class Filter. Code: Driver Name: anydvd.sys File Location: c:\windows\system32\drivers File Description: AnyDVD Filter Driver File Version: 6.1.6.0 [6.1.6.0] Product Name: AnyDVD Product Version: 6.1.6.0 [6.1.6.0] Company Name: SlySoft, Inc. A really good program that simplifies viewing your Upper and Lower Filters is Filter Driver Load Order from busTRACE Technologies LLC. It's freeware. You can download it from this webpage or here is a direct download link. Highlight your optical drive and it'll list all the filters: Upper & Lower.
1. Well, first, did you run the alphadisc uninstaller? alphadisc does do nasty things to Slysoft programs (and could potentially block them). 2. As for the filters, the link I provided showed the various programs you can use to obtain them. That said, do what Drinklyeanddye stated 3. Do what James said
I forgot to add... Once you've highlighted the optical drive and are viewing the filters click on the Clipboard button within the program and then you can paste the results into a posting so we can see your filters.
How Do I Post The Log. After I Turned It On Enable Logging I Made A Copy Of The 1st Disc That Worked Just Fine. What Is Going On.

There doesn't seem to be anything special about that disc at all that would cause a failure in AnyDVD. It's got to be something local to your system.
