To back up, all you have to do is have anydvd running in background, then run DVD decrypter and save the files to folder. Then use FixVTS on the file. Then use DVD Shrink to open the DVD file and you get everything.
If it still gives an error when you try to use DVD shrink, try separating the IFO and VOB files from the rest. Then run VTS on it again. Then use DVD Shrink repeatedly to let you know which files are needed until finally you have the full movie with menus and etc...
