my drive won't read movies

I have just installed AnyDVD v 6.1.2.5.and have the same problem. Strange thing is the drive will read CDs and DVD ROMs but not Movie DVDs - just behaves as though there is no disk in the drive - very frustrating!

Uninstall Anydvd. Now does your drive read movies?
